Your Valentine
Love wears many faces, yet its heart remains the same. And in this tender season of Valentine, the face unveiled is this: To Remember.
My Bridegroom remembers.
To unravel the mysteries of love is to arrive at holy humility, to confess that I know nothing of love except what He reveals. For love is not learned in the language of men but in the breath of God. A branch does not strive for life; it draws it from the vine. So too, in this season, I am gently reminded to remember—
to remember my commitments,
to remember my promises,
to remember the sacred command to love.
For the Lord’s call to remember is anchored in the very thing He has exalted above His Name—His Word. And the fulfillment of that Word is measured against His Name: Faithful and True.
He has said:
“See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.” — Isaiah 49:16 (NIV)
Today, as an act of unfathomable love, the Bridegroom leans close and whispers to you,
“I remember.”
To forget you would be to forget the cross.
To forget My promises would be to deny the blood that sealed them.
You sit where the nails pierced.
You rest in the covenant they marked.
I have bought you with my life.
I remember.
With a love too deep for words,
Your Valentine.
